A cunning hunter trained from birth to provide for his people.

Bird Ferguson is a member of the fierce Shrike hunting bands that protect their home, Mistveil Keep.

One of several hunting “Flocks”, these familial tribes comb the wilds to provide enough food and resources for the last bastion of Shrike culture.

His mentor, a large Raven Kin named Cypress Downe took him under his wing as a fledgling hunter.

Along with his Flock, Cypress taught Bird everything he knew about survival, tracking and hunting in the uncharted darkness of the deep wilds. The bonds between the brothers and sisters of a Flock are formed under immense pressures from beast and man alike.
